Sabina Luna

Chief Creative Officer

Sabina joined LVP to help our clients to tell their stories through graphics, video, and superior design. Today more than ever people want to be engaged and educated by the content they consume.

Sabina brings to the table an extensive background in fashion and design that is helping our clients look, sound, and communicate in a more personalized and entertaining manner. The results have been higher engagement, superior brand loyalty, and a greater share of wallet.

Sabina graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, with a BA in Fashion Design while spending a year abroad studying in Milan Italy. She also earned a Master’s degree from the University of the Arts London (UAL).

Sabina’s impressive academic achievements have also been paired with experience working with world-class designers Carolina Herrera, Oscar De La Renta, and Vera Wang. She received worldwide accolades for her forward-thinking fashion designs in 3D, printing one of the world’s first 3D dresses. Her styles have been seen in music videos, a partnership with Lexus Germany, and across the runways of London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, and Paris Fashion week.

Sabina resides in Newport Beach, CA with her husband Robert and dog McQueen (Yes, after Alexander McQueen).

Laura Bensema

President of CFO Services

Laura Bensema has over 20 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, and internal controls. She started out her career in public accounting working at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. Laura helped clients with financial reporting as well as control design and effectiveness to comply with Sarbanes Oxley regulations. After that, Laura worked in the financial services industry holding senior leadership roles in finance, tax, and internal audit. Laura now works as a CFO/ Controller consultant helping companies get financial processes in place and making sure they have a sound financial plan for growth and sustainability. She has experience with management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, accounting research, and tax reporting. She also has experience in process improvement, risk and control assessments, and building teams with a strong culture of accountability.

Laura received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Iowa. She also has her CPA certificate (inactive). Laura is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor.

Dan Bensema

Managing Partner

Dan is a strategy and finance executive with 20 years of experience in world-class companies and entrepreneurial ventures. Dan’s unique experience includes acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships ranging in size and complexity from $2 million to $8 billion, and advising executives at large and small businesses. In Dan’s experience at Deloitte and Fortune 500 companies, he worked alongside some of the world’s top business talent and has developed best practices for serving high-growth businesses. With a background of strategic planning, valuation, leading senior-level teams, business investment decision-making, and technical research, CEOs and business owners leverage Dan as a thought‐partner to solve complex problems and drive results. Dan works with a strong sense of ownership and a drive to make a difference.

Dan has Accounting, MBA, and Master of Accountancy degrees from the University of Iowa. Dan’s experience is complemented by credentials including CPA, M&A and Exit Planning certifications, and CFP® professional.

Luis Galdamez

Managing Partner

Luis Galdamez, CFA, CFP® has 19 years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on business valuation. He has studied under the instruction of Aswath Damodaran at NYU Stern, known as the “Dean of Valuation” on Wall Street.

Luis holds the top designation in business valuation offered by the CFA Institute, an organization committed to developing and upholding professional excellence in the global investment community. In addition, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ which allows him a strong understanding of how to incorporate business valuation into the business owner’s personal financial plan. Luis graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics and Psychology.

As part of the Luna Venture Partners team, Luis is able to take his extensive experience in business valuation and tie it into a company’s business strategy in order to quantify and maximize the value of our client’s organization.

Rob Luna

Founder & CEO Rob Luna

Rob Luna, MBA has more than 24 years of experience collaborating with successful entrepreneurs managing everything from their real estate transactions & investment portfolios, to helping them build and scale their most valuable investment, their businesses. He has consulted with some of the world’s largest corporations such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, and Costco on strategic growth, capital raising, shareholder communication, and M&A.

He is an on-air contributor for Fox Business where he can be seen weekly on the show Making Money with Charles Payne. He also appears regularly on Mornings with Maria starring Maria Bartiromo on Fox and has been featured in numerous publications such as The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s.

Rob holds MBA degrees from the Anderson School at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and Asia’s top business school, National University of Singapore (NUS), with an emphasis on global business management, international finance, economics, and strategy. An Ivy League alumnus of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Rob graduated from the Wharton Advanced Management Program (AMP) in 2011 and served as a Wharton Fellow from 2011-2014.

In January 2020, Rob sold a majority interest in Surevest, the wealth management firm he founded from a spare bedroom in 2002, to CI Financial, the largest non-bank publicly traded financial company in Canada, for an undisclosed amount. Rob Launched Luna Venture Partners in 2021 in order to bring his real-world style of consulting to businesses looking to experience exponential growth.
